THE DEBUT

She made her debut with the exhibition "Stairway", in 2020, at the "Ștefan Procopiu' Museum of Science and Technology from the Palace of Culture in Iasi and participated in more than 20 collective and group exhibitions, national and international, organized by UNAGE Iasi, the Union of Visual Artists in Romania, etc.

THE CONCEPT

Ioana Irimia is interested in the exploration and Visual capitalization of an extensive range of concepts regarding the fundamental questions of the human being: What is the meaning of our presence in this world? Where we come from and where we go after the "great passage"? What is love, sacrifice, courage, memory. And last but not least: if there is a Creator and how we can approach to know Him.

Capable of a remarkable stylistic versatility and endowed with an exceptional chromatic sensitivity, Ioana Irimia surprises us with a refined visual poetry, through which she combines ancestral themes and motifs together with current pictorial formulas of postmodern stamp.
